Welcome to the Circus: Max and Milia Queadluun-Raus (2025)

This unintentionally became the fourth in my "Welcome to the Circus" series of illustrations. Once again inspired by the anime sci-fi franchise Macross, this newest is the first in the series to be done all-digital (no AI), with the previous three being ink and watercolor. In the 1984 feature film characters Max and Milia pilot Queadluun-Rau power armors in matching blue and red color schemes.

The faux border allows the Itano Circus (aka - lots of missiles) to pop out of the scene towards the viewer.
